2021 Wrap Up

We partnered this year with Applied Design Works to launch a brand center for Dartmouth Health. Similar to the work done for NYU Langome, this brand center was built on WordPress and hosted with WP Engine. Using modern WordPress techniques, we used Gutenberg blocks rather than the reusable types based on Advanced Custom Fields, which was a great improvement for the content editors because they could see how pages would look without using the preview feature. The site was handed off the the DH IT team for maintenance.

Continuing in the role of platform architect for Clorox, we worked on a large integration project to begin moving sites over the Lytics CDP. This work involved real time, backend synchronization between the local consumer database with the graph database inside Lytics. Data flowed both ways to keep newsletter subscriptions in sync. As part of this effort, the Clorox preference center database schema was refactored and optimized.

We also spent time making sure Electro sites complied with California’s CPRA law.
